Can’t help but feel a little in love when this season comes around. The flowers, the sunshine, the weather… The shoes!

I think it’s time someone host an evening garden party because I have the best party shoes for the occasion. Pretty-Small-Shoes have recently released their ever-so-adorable Spring style wedges, ‘Starry Eyed‘. The glitter detail and the comfortable wedge, make these petite shoes a winner for any evening Spring/Summer outdoor event. No need to worry about the stiletto heel getting stuck in the grass, these comfy wedges will last the whole night .

The thick black trim allow versatility with the style. You can pair it with black skinny jeans (rolled up at the hem) for a casual take on the style, or pair it with a champaign gold/rose gold dress for dramatic effect. Whatever your style, these petite high-wedges most definitely demand your attention.

We first saw flatforms really emerge around a year and a half ago. And contrary to what many thought (or hoped) this trend is still very much happening and is still on the rise.

Flatforms are perfect for petites. Not only does it provide a great boost in height but it also doesn’t strain the feet as much as high heels. Which is awesome! Consider them the alternative to daily flats.

‘Cocoon‘ are one of Pretty-Small-Shoes chicest pairs of Flatforms. They’re edgy, stylish and comfy. The animal print and metallic studded detailing on the ankle strap is what gives this a cool urban style. It looks great clashed with the tribal trends and with anything black. My favourites to pair with these ‘Cocoon’ flatforms are black leather type leggings, like Kandy Collective‘s leather-look leggings. Alternatively for warmer days wear with some worn out short denim shorts and an old tee and make it a boho-chic outfit.

The weather in London does not seem all that summery at the moment. But, a girl can only dream. Imagine wide open plains, pretty daisies and Pretty-Small-Shoes. I’m a big fan of the classic peep-toe style shoes and even more so for summer outfits. They can be paired endlessly with dresses, skirts, jeans, denim and more. You might even find the perfect outfit at Kandy Collective!

I’m particularly loving the vintage style that ‘Terra‘ is. This petite sized ladies shoes has a great mix of earthy woven fabric and soft brown leather and definitely owns this classic vintage style. It can be worn casually, for work and for dressed up occasions, so  you’ll never feel limited in this small vintage style heels.

One of the hottest trends in footwear this season is ‘metallic shoes’. I know I’ve mentioned this before, but it’s so hard to ignore  it when it seems to be on every shoe-lovers lips. It’s all about being bold, powerful  and of course, a little risky.
This trend isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, as it can be a little space-age. However, I think it is worth trying out. And if you are up to date with Pretty-Small-Shoes you would know their range does not shy from the cool and current trends such as this- no matter how petite-footed their clientele is.
This trend does draw inspiration from an 80s retro era where  altogether the hair, outfits and accessories can look a bit much, but take elements from this style, and it works brilliantly! Wear the metallic trend, but remember to keep it simple and not over-accessorise.

One of the best parts of my day includes going out for a walk with my little dog, ‘Churro’. Not many people dress up for The Dog Walk, but sometimes I think it’s just nice to put on a dress and some Pretty-Small-Shoes and walk out the door feeling a little glam. I own a few awesome petite flats from Pretty-Small-Shoes which are perfect for walking in. Of course, these lovely petite flats are also perfect for running your everyday errands in.

Pair any of these gorgeous small sized flats with a dress and you’ve got a very pretty walking outfit. My small dog absolutely loves my small shoes and often gets distracted by them on our walks. Clearly, my little pups got good taste in shoes, especially small shoes!

The flowers are blooming, the weathers feeling lovely and the collection at Pretty-Small-Shoes keeps getting bigger! With Spring trends upon us, it is one of the most seasons of the year for fashion. I’m sure I’m not alone in saying this, but I’m just soooo darn happy that Pretty-Small-Shoes and their sister petite-clothing line, Kandy Collective, invite us little ladies to enjoy the trends of the season.

I have seen a number of gorgeous and trendy petite shoes that have recently been added to their expansive range of small-shoes. One of my absolute favourites for flats is ‘Eclips‘- a pair of funky studded small flats. Very office chic! I’ve also had my eye on some boho-vintage inspired small-sized-boots, ‘Dante‘. These are the perfect weekend petite boots to pair with a floraly shift dress. One dress in particular that I have in mind, is from the petite clothing store, Kandy Collective. The contrast of floral and leather boots work perfectly and I suggest you give this sort of style a go!

Colour is going to play a big part this season, but if you wanted to change it up and keep it interesting, why not give pastels a go.

Pretty-Small-Shoes has plenty of fabulous shoes that support this trend. My top 5 picks would be the small-sized Melody, Spring Flower, Killer Heels – natural colours, Diva-Licious, Jelly Bean and Pure (mint or lilac). Try not to wear pastels from head to toe as it would look a little too much, but worn in the right way would look amazing. Mix pastels with a dark navy colour for toughen up the look. But, if you are a girly girl- this trend will definitely suit you!

Monday mornings couldn’t be better now that us small-footed ladies are not limited to choice when it comes to work footwear. No more needing to go to the kids section for black ballet flats. You can wear proper work mid-heels, high-heels all in petite sizes.

My top 6 pairs of shoes for the office are: Emma, Closer, Ribbon-Heel, Lepel, Celestine and Bitter-Sweet.

So as Spring approaches, you’ve seriously got to start thinking about the colours you’ll be bringing into your wardrobe. This season is all about mint and yellow. But, I want to focus on the colour yellow right now. This bright colour evokes everything Spring represents… Sunshine, fresh lemons, sunflowers… To name a few. And you’ll always love this colour every Spring. This colour makes people happy and is just so upbeat. And so, if I had to pick a Spring time colour I must have, it would be yellow, for sure.

Petite ladies! I encourage you to get a pair of these lovely small-sized retro peep-toes, especially in a yellow. It’s a wonderful addition to any Spring wardrobe and you would look miles ahead of the rest in fashion stakes.
