Not exactly what it says on the tin…

Now the biggest oxymoron facing us small ladies is… baggy tights. Baggy tights are the bane of my life. How is a petite business woman meant to look professional, smart and independent when her tights are bagging round the knee, the ankle… or worse!
There is a famous character from British TV history called Nora Batty. She made baggy tights famous, and ‘ Nora Batty’ is now a well known term / slang for ill fitting tights. I’m forever suffering from ‘Nora Batty syndrome’ . I have one particulary bad pair of opaques but the colour is SO amazing I just have to wear them… uh oh.
I have been lucky enough to find one solution to this problem – childrens tights. I’ve found that age 11-12 years (curteosey of M&S) fit perfectly. I’m particularly fond of the thermals, especially now the nights are drawing in and its getting a bit chilly! The only draw back is the colour palette, which is limited, to say the least.
Thankfully, www.pretty-small-shoes.com have a great range of tights to fit those who have size one to three feet. But most importantly this does mean I can step out in any of my awesome petite shoes and not worry that my tights are going to ruin my look.
So, my suggestion is to pair these great baggy small size La Torre boots with any of the petite leggings and tights that Jiyeon has on the site as they fit those who have to wear petite shoes perfectly! You’ll not find better.
