So, now autumn is well and truly upon us it’s time to work out which are the best pretty-small-shoes for each of us to be wearing. We may all be petite but I’m sure we don’t all look the same. Some of have bigger legs, some us will of course, be taller etc. There will be a pairs of gorgeous shoes on the site that might not do some of us justice so let’s investigate and make sure that we are all buying the right shoes for our different frames. 

If you are short, tiny and slim the thing we must remember is height, height, height. Avoid straps if possible as these cut of the ankle and therefore, cut your leg off and shorten you instantly. I would suggest Killer Heel, Eleganza or Viva. Any of these fabulous petite shoes will instantly give you length, not to mention almost forcing you to stand up straight (adding to the height) as you will feel so elegant in them, you’ll want to carry yourself the best you can.

If your legs are little short and stocky the best thing to do is wear heels with bright colours, but keep it simple. I would advise B-lush (if you can’t do bright) or Boo in bright pink or purple (if you can)! Open toes also help so Boo is perfect, but the one thing you must, must at all costs avoid – mid-length boots. Anything that finishes at the calf (the point of the leg that tends to be the widest) is only going to make your legs look even wider! So, just don’t do it. If you do want small size ladies boots I would advise Easy-Rider.  Riding boots, especially on petite feet, will never be out of fashion and teamed with a Barbour, this season, would be oh-so- cool. But make sure it’s a cropped padded one though. Anything too big and you’ll start drowning in it.

Now, on the off chance that you are quite tall with tiny feet I would suggest staying with flats. Heels would of course make you slender but perhaps too tall? You may have a fella who has the ‘Tom Cruise’ affliction (he who doesn’t like his ladies taller than he). And don’t forget you can have fun with small size flat shoes… Lucky Star in leopard print are the best small flats. Or Venezia, which will be great for the coming winter.
